This app, You Advance in Life Math, helps you explore the behavior of the Riemann’s Zeta function that is part of one of the six most famous unsolved “Millennium” problems in mathematics, called Riemann’s Hypothesis. There is the prize, $1 million, offered for the correct mathematical proof of this hypothesis.
There is the button on the main screen of “You Advance in Life Math” application that opens the Riemann’s Function Calculator. It allows you to enter the positive real part and any imaginary part of a complex argument of Riemann’s Zeta Function and the number of iterations for computing the partial sum of infinite series that defines Zeta function and the associated Eta function.
Pay attention to the scientific notation (E-5 or e+7) in the output fields.
You can use the scientific notation in the input fields as well.
Input fields:
- Real and Imaginary parts of the argument (Default: the first root of Zeta function)
- Length of partial sum (Default: 10,000)
Output fields:
- Eta-function’s Modulus and Sum of Real and Imaginary parts,
- Zeta-function’s (Real and Imaginary parts) and Modulus,
- Zeta-function’s Modulus for sigma = 0.5, for comparison.
